Ondra contacted me promptly and we agreed on a time to test drive the car. He also called while we were on the way to the dealership. We were met in the parking lot by one of his sales people with the car ready to drive, and I was able to drive it around the parking lot with the salesman. Unfortunately, the color was too similar to the car we were trading in and they had no other civic touring sedans in stock. The salesman we were talking to had a strong accent, and communication was difficult. He took our name and contact information, but nothing was said about any other vehicles arriving in the future. Consequently, we searched further at other dealerships, and found and purchased a lighter colored civic touring a few days later at a dealership nearer our home. About a week later, we had a call from the Rusty Wallis salesman that new vehicles had been received. Had we known they were enroute, we might have waited.

I was in desperate need of a car and was pretty stressed out about the situation. John Hargis went above and beyond to make sure i was able to get ahold of the car i wanted as well as making sure it was something i could afford. I called him and ended up buying the car that same day, fully expecting this to take weeks if not months. I will be referring him to all my friends and family that are interested in purchasing Hondas.

Initial contact was next day (Monday). We discussed the model and trade in. Filled out form for trade in and sent it in as we are almost 2 hours away. He followed up on Tuesday and explained that he was running behind. Took him a couple of more days to follow up with what he had in stock. He offered a 2020 pilot demo. We asked for pricing on a 2021 pilot as we wanted the 0% financing. Never heard back. We ended up purchasing from our local dealer even though they had to get the car we wanted from another dealer.

Arrived at dealership for 10:15 AM appointment on Thursday, March 12th with my Car Pro VIP certificate. I was meet by Sales consultant Kevin Harper and he helped me select vehicle. We are keeping our 2001 Accord. John helped us evaluate the 2019 CRV EXL. He explained all the features and we took our time on the test drive. We purchased the vehicle and shortly went to finance. Our credit rating is strong and we secured financing at a lower rate than American Honda quoted. We have been using Rusty Wallis for service on our 2001 Accord. They will service the CRV. John made the car buying process easy. Rusty Wallis didn't have what I wanted on the lot so they searched for a match and found one in Houston. Less than a week later they had brought a car down from Houston which was exactly what I was looking for. The purchase process was quick and hassle free. John is a very nice, straightforward guy but they had no cars. When I mentioned buying out my cars lease thru them he told me there would be a $1,495 fee. This seems excessive. Went to John Eagle, cut a good deal in 30 minutes for a car coming in 2 weeks.

Jim Beeson was off duty when we first visited the dealership at night, but Robert Granger and the sales manager assisted us and where very helpful. The next day we returned, met with Jim and took a second test drive. Jim, Robert and all the staff we had contact with at the dealership were professional, they were product knowledgeable and they were enjoyable to work with.
