Mercedes-Benz is giving its entry-level GLA a refresh for the 2018 model year. The baby SUV first launched in 2013 so this is what you’d consider a mid-cycle update. (A completely new restyled GLA is due out in 2020 by the way.)
In terms of looks, the 2018 gets slightly more aggressive bumpers, along with new wheel designs. Drivers can also opt for the new “Canyon Beige” paint color.
In the rear, Mercedes is joining other automakers by now offering optional hands-free access. So you can open and close the trunk by using a foot movement, instead of your hands. The cabin comes with new seat covers and chromed control panels. To compete in the ever-growing small SUV segment, it’s a given that Mercedes had to add a 360-degree camera view.
