Ford is already on the NASCAR circuit with its latest sixth-generation Ford Fusion, now it has won a NASCAR award for applying its business skills as well.
Ford just won its second 2012 NASCAR Driving Business Award, presented in Las Vegas at the NASCAR Fuel for Business Council, which aims to help companies and organizations get more out of NASCAR sponsorships.
Ford is being saluted for creating more business-to-business relationships through the council, including having sold 5,500 vehicles to council members last year. It created a special program to foster the sales.
“As a proud member of the council, we are continuously developing new strategies to drive business and this platform has proven to be a particularly effective tool in generating positive return on investment,” said Jamie Allison, director of Ford Racing.
