Nissan is putting a new spin on the phrase “doing donuts”.
Nissan execs brought in Formula Drift icon Chris Forsberg to help get the job done. They put him in the NISMO on a Southern California production set, and surrounded him with more than a 2,800 pounds of candy sprinkles.
His mission was to fling the tiny sprinkles onto more than 300 donuts, doing actual donuts in the NISMO. It took 15 passes to get the donuts decorated with just the right amount of sprinkles. (I’m partial to the white iced sprinkled donut myself.)
By the time all was said and done, more than 325 donuts and 120 boxes of sprinkles were used to create the stunt.
We’re hoping Forsberg enjoyed a donut or two afterwards.
P.S. Nissan wants you to know this dramatization was performed by a professional driver on a closed course. So don’t attempt this yourself. That would be a bad idea. Driving is a serious business and requires your full attention. Nissan reminds you to obey all traffic laws. Always drive safely and secure all cargo. Wear your seat belt. And please don’t drink and drive.
