Hyundai is introducing a new Shopper Assurance program guaranteed to get the attention of car shoppers worried about buyer’s remorse. That’s because it offers a three-day money back guarantee.
Hyundai calls its Shopper Assurance program a nationwide industry-first. The money back guarantee is just one facet of the program Hyundai says is designed to make the car buying process easier, faster and worry-free. Pain-free car buying is something that is at the very foundation of what already we do here at the Car Pro by connecting you with our trusted Car Pro Certified Dealers for a VIP buying experience.
Hyundai’s newly launched program rolled out this week in Miami, Orlando, Dallas, and Houston. It will eventually make it to all Hyundai dealers in early 2018. It has four aspects:
3-Day Money Back Guarantee
The first thing bound to perk up car buyer’s ears is the money back guarantee. Hyundai says any customer who isn’t satisfied with their purchase is given a three-day buyback period to return the car for a full refund. The car, of course, must be inspected and the vehicle must have fewer than 300 miles since the purchase/lease date.
Hyundai is also promising transparent pricing, something you will also find at any of our Car Pro Certified Dealers. Under Hyundai’s new program, the automaker says participating dealers will post the fair market pricing (MSRP minus incentives and any dealer offered discounts) on the dealer websites, so the customer knows exactly what the market pricing is for the vehicle. Hyundai wants to eliminate the time it takes to negotiate a price along with the frustration of widely advertised incentives not being available on dealer websites.
Flexible Test Drive
Flexible and or extended test drives are something more and more automakers are offering, including 24-hour test drives offered by Lincoln and Buick. They are something Car Pro Show host Jerry Reynolds is a big proponent of as well. In this case, using the Hyundai Drive platform, customers can schedule a test drive by contacting the dealer or using a custom-built app in select markets. The vehicle can be dropped off at a location of the customer’s choosing, including their home, their office or even a coffee shop.
Hyundai is also promising customers they won’t have to spend so much time at the dealer. The program allows car buyers to complete most of the paperwork online before visiting the dealership for a vehicle in the dealer’s inventory. Hyundai says you can do all of the financials this way including financing, obtaining credit approvals, calculating payment estimates and valuing trade-ins.
