Finally, something for Dallas Cowboys fans to smile about following that recent bad news about injured quarterback Tony Romo. Ford is rolling out a special edition F-150 just for Cowboys fans.

The automaker unveiled the 2016 Dallas Cowboys Edition F-150 Wednesday at AT&T Stadium. If it looks like the truck for you, we advise you to get on it quickly. Ford says it will limit production to 400 models. And there’s more. Each one will be autographed by none other than owner Jerry Jones.

The pickup is based on the F-150 XLT with Chrome Package, which by the way is the top seller in Texas. It’s painted in silver, of course, to match the team’s helmet. The team’s iconic lone blue star logo is everywhere, too.

It has exclusive Cowboys Edition Star badging on the front doors and rear tailgate. Blue-White-Blue rocker panel striping pays tribute to the Cowboys over-the-top helmet stripe. The 20-inch chrome wheels also feature unique Cowboys Star center caps. Even the heavy-duty cargo bed mat, along with the inside floor mats, feature the logo. This is cool, too. The chrome front-door laser-etched foot plates featuring the legendary “Cowboys” wordmark.

As we mentioned earlier, a “1 of 400” Cowboys Edition interior badge will be personally autographed by Jerry Jones.

“Everyone in the Dallas Cowboys organization is excited about the new Dallas Cowboys Edition F-150,” said Jerry Jones, Owner and General Manager of the Dallas Cowboys. “The Ford F-150 and the Dallas Cowboys are known world-wide for their rich heritages and long winning traditions. Our Cowboys fans are among the most passionate in all of sports. We are proud to partner with Ford and the Texas Ford Dealers to bring this Cowboys Edition F-150 to our incredible fans. I think you will agree it is the ultimate truck for the ultimate Cowboys fan.”

The price of all this Dallas Cowboys fanfare adds $1,495 to the bottom line. The special edition is on sale now at select Texas Ford dealers.

Ford Motor Company and the Dallas Cowboys will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these trucks to support the educational efforts at Happy Hill Farm in Granbury, Texas.
