Looks like Jimmy Fallon will be getting his new Ford 150 King Ranch from a suburban Chicago dealer.
Pete Porzio from Frankfort’s Currie Motors won Fallon’s “Fingers on a 4X4” competition Wednesday afternoon, the show announced.
“The Tonight Show” host started a competition Monday to pick which car salesperson in the U.S. would be the one to sell him the new car.
“I picked out my truck but now I don’t know where to get it, there’s a lot of dealerships out there,” Fallon said. “So I wanted to come up with a fun way of doing this so we’re going to do a contest called ‘Fingers on a 4X4’.”
Similar to “Hands on a Hardbody,” 10 Ford sales consultants from around the U.S. placed one hand on a Ford F150 currently sitting on the U.S.S. Intrepid on the Hudson River in New York, and the action was live streamed across the nation.
Just after noon last Wednesday, Porzio, dubbed #FrankfortPete in the competition, became the winner with a time of 38 hours and 52 minutes.
