What do you get when you drop a new Ferrari-assembled V8 into the Maserati Levante, again? The 550-horsepower 2019 Levante GTS starting from a cool $119,980.
The twin-turbocharged Ferrari 3.8-liter V8 engine is one of the most powerful engines to ever sit under a Maserati hood. It’s a retuned version of the one in the top-of-the-line 590-horse Trofeo. Assembled in Italy, it helps the GTS sprint from 0 to 60 in 4.0 seconds with a top speed 181 mph. Like all Levantes, the GTS is equipped with an 8-speed transmission and Maserati’s Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive System.
New for 2019 Levante Lineup
The Levante has a redesigned gear shifter for 2019 along with a new ‘P’ button shifts it into park mode. Creature comforts include perforated leather seats, an Alcantara headliner, unique instrument cluster graphics, and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system. Pieno Fiore leather, standard on the range-topping Trofeo, is now an option on all Levante models. Maserati also offers three new high-gloss interior veneers.
Optional adaptive Full LED Matrix headlights are now available as is standard Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC), already available on the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans. Drivers can opt for 21- or 22-inch aluminum wheels. The 22-inch are the largest ever created by Maserati and are exclusively available for the new Levante GTS and Trofeo.
Deliveries begin in October.
