As car campaigns go, it’s hard to top this. BMW is enlisting supermodel Gigi Hadid in its new “Eyes on Gigi” campaign, the automaker’s first one highlighting the new BMW M2 Coupe. Although we have to say Hadid gets top billing here.
Basically, in the ad, Hadid hops into a BMW M2. She’s joined by four other M2s and they all take off. You have to do your best to keep your eye on her specific M2. You can pick which one you think she’s in on the campaign’s website.
“We are delighted to win Gigi Hadid as the face of our global campaign for the new BMW M2 Coupé,” commented Uwe Dreher, head of International Brand Communications BMW, BMW i and BMW M. “Gigi and the M2 are the perfect match: Both are strong personalities with fascinating charisma.”
“BMW is such an iconic brand,” says Hadid. “The fact that I get to be the face of this campaign is definitely a career highlight for me. The M2 is such a cool, fun car.”
If you just can’t decide which car she’s in from the original video, there is also a 360-degree view video shot from inside Hadid’s coupe. But we can’t promise it makes things any easier.
The ads were filmed at an airfield in the Mojave Desert.
The new BMW M2 Coupe will go on sale this April and start at $51,700.
