Top-Selling Cars Year-To-Date So Far in 2018

2018 Toyota Camry XSE Mid-Sized Cars

This embattled segment is off by a lot from a year ago, although it is hard to say exactly how much.  All we have are estimates from General Motors since the moronic decision to only report sales quarterly, but I digress.

As close as we can tell, 1,710,000 cars have been sold in the first four months of 2018, and that compares with 1,955,000 sales through the same period in 2017.

Here are top 25 so far for 2018, and I will not list any GM products.

Love your show. I listen to it each Saturday morning here in Houston, and again in the afternoon, since I’m apt to have missed some segments while I’m out running errands or doing chores around the house.

I’m rather surprised that the Ford Mustang did not crack the top 25 list. Can this be an oversight? Between my older son and I, we’ve owned one Saleen and three GTs, the last of which, a 2002, is still sitting in my driveway with 217,000 miles on the odometer, and all with beloved manual trannies. Those 4.6s were venerable engines, and the 351 Cleveland on the Saleen was a throwback to the old days.

Please let Kevin know that I used to listen to him religiously each day up until 1993, when I moved from Dallas to Houston. He had the most entertaining and engaging radio show in the Metroplex. I loved his wide array of topics.

GOOD CATCH! I missed it somehow, it should have been #18 with 26,249 sales through April. Thanks for listening to the show!
