A sporty N Line version of the all-new 2021 Hyundai Elantra sedan is on the way and we're getting our first look of the sedan with some new pics and teaser video.

The N Line is Hyundai's high-performance brand. Hyundai isn't giving out numbers yet, but says the upcoming Elantra N Line adds N brand specific design elements, chassis upgrades and a turbocharged engine to the recently revealed 2021 Elantra.

The redesigned 2021 Elantra is due to hit dealers later this year so we can expect the N Line trim to arrive around that time as well. An N-Line version of the Sonta will go on sale in late 2020 as well.

All-New 2021 Elantra

Hyundai unveiled the all-new Elantra and first-ever Elantra Hybrid last month. The seventh-generation lineup rides on a new platform with a longer wheelbase, wider stance and lower roofline. The Elantra SE, SEL, and Limited offer the 2.0-liter engine that delivers 147-horsepower.

An 8-inch infotainment system is standard but a 10.25-inch system is available and features a faster processor. An 8-speaker Bose audio system is also optional and the lineup features segment-first wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as Hyundai's Digital Key. Hyundai's Smart Safety System is standard, and optional driver assistance features include Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA) with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Highway Driving Assist (HDA), Safe Exit Warning (SEW) and Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist (PCA).

Production gets underway this fall with first shipments to CarProUSA Certified Dealers in the fourth quarter.

Hyundai says it's sold more than 3.4 million Elantras in the U.S. and more than 13.8 million worldwide.
