How often does a car buyer get to videotape the entire process of his vehicle being built? The answer is not very often! But one Car Pro Show listener had the chance to visit the GM Assembly plant in Arlington, Texas in March to see his 2015 Chevy Tahoe make its way down the production line.
It’s quite a sight and cool to see it progress through all the different stages of production.
JERRY: A Car Pro Show listener sent me a video of his 2015 Chevy Tahoe as it is being built at the Arlington, TX General Motors Assembly plant. He did an OUTSTANDING job capturing the assembly process, and tapering it down to just 7 minutes. Thanks for sharing Bruce! By the way, it’s a beauty!

While GM is not confirming any details about its plans to expand the 60-year-old facility, city of Arlington documents reportedly show plans for up to 589 new jobs and a 1.2 million square foot expansion.
