The muscle car will make its official debut at the New York City Auto Show in April. It’s a sibling to the 707-horsepower Hellcat.
On Dodge’s pop-up site ‘ifyouknowyouknow’, two teaser videos play more like metal music videos than detailed information about the Demon.
Some sleuth watching shows the Demon will likely shed the back seat, radio, and A/C. Expect fine tuning on the wheels, steering, suspension, and brakes. We can also expect some big tires.
The Demon sheds 200 pounds off the Hellcat’s nearly 4,500 pounds. Word on the street has the purpose behind the weight loss for doing a quarter-mile faster than any competitors. With that in mind, expect a 2.4-liter supercharger and a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 under the hood.
More details when it debuts at the New York Auto Show.
